What is sharpening ?

Sharpening is returning a dull edge back to a sharp edge. Your edges will go dull over time during normal use of your equipment. We sharpen your blades to return it to a sharp edge.

What is repair ?

When an edge has been damaged and needs to be repaired before it can be sharpened.
Examples: - A broken tip on a knife needs to be reprofiled prior to sharpening; - Knives that have been sharpened by pull through knife sharpeners or small grinding machines; - Convex scissors that have been sharpened to a bevel edge need to be returned back to a convex edge before sharpening; - Scissors that have been damaged by cutting sandpaper or other You Tube sharpening methods; - Clipper blades that have been sharpened on an oil stone.
